Claire Bredenoord is an artist, researcher and writer. Her work responds to social crises, often utilising photography, storytelling and experiential spaces to incite shifts in thinking and contribute to larger social movements. Initially driven by injustices encountered growing up in California, her past projects have focused on the school-to-prison pipeline, race relations and community healing. Underlying interests motivating Claire’s work include identity and testimony, as well as human capacity to unlearn, reimagine and actualise
